HONOR Watch 6 is built around one unusually large promise for a smartwatch: up to 35 days of battery life. HONOR also gives a 17-day estimate for typical use, which is the more useful number for buyers keeping health tracking, notifications, and regular workouts active.
The watch also brings dual-band GPS, more than 120 sports modes, health-tracking tools, NFC payments in supported markets, and Android and iOS compatibility. Some features still depend on the paired phone, bank, or region.

HONOR Watch 6 specs, price and availability
According to HONOR’s official Watch 6 page, the smartwatch uses a 980mAh battery and a 1.46-inch Hybrid LTPS display rated for up to 3,000 nits. Shadow Black uses an aluminum-alloy body, while Twilight Brown uses 316L stainless steel. Both carry 5ATM and IP69 protection.
HONOR lists compatibility with Android 9.0 or later and iOS 15.1 or later, although some features require an HONOR phone running a recent version of MagicOS. The watch is sold across parts of Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Latin America, and Turkey, but HONOR does not currently list the US.
HONOR’s UK store lists the Watch 6 at £249.99 before promotional discounts. Battery life is a major differentiator on paper: the Pixel Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch9 carry manufacturer estimates measured in hours rather than weeks, although their testing methods are not directly comparable with HONOR’s.
What the 35-day battery claim means
HONOR’s 35-day figure comes from its Bluetooth Long Battery Life Mode scenario. That keeps heart-rate and sleep tracking active but limits Bluetooth calling, music playback, and GPS exercise.
Its 17-day typical-use estimate adds automatic blood-oxygen and stress detection, more calling and music playback, and about three hours of GPS exercise per week. HONOR separately rates the watch for up to 42 hours of outdoor activity with independent GPS positioning.
All three figures come from HONOR Labs. Actual endurance will vary with screen use, GPS, health tracking, calls, notifications, and other settings. For most buyers, 17 days is the more useful comparison figure.
Health, sports, and payments
Fitness tracking includes more than 120 sports modes and dual-frequency positioning. Football mode can track distance, sprint speed, average speed, and movement data, while badminton mode records swing count, speed, shot power, and stroke types.
HONOR also includes an AI Running Coach with voice guidance for pace and heart-rate targets, plus trail-running tools such as 3D distance measurement and severe-weather alerts.
Health tools cover heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, sleep, Body Energy, Quick Health Scan, and blood-pressure trends. HONOR says these are wellness features rather than medical tools, a distinction that also applies to many newer smartwatch health features.
NFC payments use Fidesmo Pay with eligible Mastercard and Visa cards, but bank and regional support varies. Some software features also require an HONOR phone, and video watch face customization is not supported with iOS.
Long-term support is another point to check. Older Apple, Google, and Samsung watches have reached software-support cutoffs, while HONOR’s current Watch 6 materials focus on present compatibility rather than publishing a comparable multiyear support commitment.
The Watch 6 makes the strongest case for buyers who prioritize long battery life, sports tracking, and a conventional round-watch design. The 17-day typical-use estimate is the practical battery number to remember, while regional payments, phone-dependent features, and US availability are the main caveats.
